To me, training pokemon Beyond Level 70 becomes really hard, in Diamond. In Pokemon Platinum, it becomes hard to train pokemon once they reach level 80. So I need help. What is a quick way to train pokemon that are over level 70 or 80, so that they can get to level 100? The only locally trained pokemon I have that is level 100, is Feraligatr. I only used a few rare candies to get him up to level 100, and he's from Colosseum. I got a Wi-Fi event Arceus, and I entirely trained him by rare candies.

So, let me shorten it. Besides using rare candies, what is the quickest way to get a level 100 pokemon?

It does become really hard in really any game, actually. I think I got lucky with my lv.100 Swampert in Ruby version...
One way I used to use before my friend gave me rare candies via Action Replay without me even saying he could was beating the Elite Four a ton of times, and then, on weekends, battling you rival in the Battle Area (D/P) or the Survival Area, in front of Buck's house or whatever it is (Platinum). You can also go into that little cafe place that Buck's grandfather runs, with all the gym leaders and such. They might also level up with your rival as you keep beating the Elite Four. I read somewhere that your rival can become stronger than Red is in HG/SS. Pretty strong, and good for training. It's only on weekends, though, but you can set your calender on the DS so it can be Saturday or Sunday everyday.

Could've asked this in the DPPt forum's Q&A thread. I suggest rebattling the E4, Barry (or whatever you named him), and the gym leaders, if you're still referring to Platinum.

    Locked.
