    ill admit its been a long time since i watched Higurashi tho :/ so i might not remember everything as well

    I thought i Joined this group recently, anyway I obviously imagined it so i'll join today.

    So, yeah. Love Higurashi, just started Kai a couple of days ago. :)

    i've seen it, and i loved it.
    even tho i've to say the anime is a little.. um, chaotic. the VN is much better and more elaborate, although of course the drawback there is you cant have the nice animation XD;
    but overall i loved the mystery('solving') and loved Beato and Bernkastel. <3
    and there's god-knows-how-many references to Higurashi..
     
    Ah, that's good to know. I'm not a big fan of VNs so i'll go with the anime. Glad to find someone that enjoyed it, the majority don't seem to rate it that well.

    yeah, that's what i meant by chaotic, lol. events follow up fast and don't always make as much sense, so many people disliked it.. also cause of the comparison to Higurashi, which was worked out better i think.

    i liked it, but i really think you should watch and decide for yourself.
    just be sure to at least wait till the second game starts if you want to drop it tho. XD;
     
    I'm not a fan of dropping anime, especially those that want you to put the mystery together for yourself. I think you may have talked me into watching that one sooner than i had planned. Guess i'll start it once I finish Hayate!!
     
    Mafia is... Well...

    To put it simply, it's a game where a small group of people collaborate, deceive, and murder, while the entire group tries to weed out the Mafia.

    Much more complicated, much more fun than it sounds.

    Google it.

    It's in the games section, and it's become some freakish anime hodge-podge-thingamajigger in the process of making it.

    I still recommend checking it out.

    Because I love having my friends and family murdered.
    Because of the interesting storyline...
    I like the blood...

    Anyways, my favourite arc is probably the second. (forgot it's name)
    And my least favourite is the first one of Kai. So much annoying politics and complaining to child services...
