    Hi,

I hope this is the right sub-forum for my posting.
Actually I am searching for some translators who want to make a profession out of their hobby and translate video games from Japanese to English.

HEre is a brief job description

    Location
    Frankfurt, Germany.

    Responsibilities
    • Translation/Localisation of texts with different degrees and complexity in the areas of in-game text, manuals, country specific colloquial, electronics.

I don't even think you're supposed to be advertising a job here, especially since you expect the person to work for you under contract :/

We'll have to see what the mods say about this before people start disregarding this for simply being in the wrong section or thinking it's against the rules.

PS. Looks like a nice job, little far away for me, being in England but yeah, great oppotunity.

    Dear T3h Kaiser,
we´re all human and little spelling mistakes can always happen..

You´re right, we´re not a translation company but we´re one of the world leaders in the staffing industrie (actually no.1 in the US).
But if you would like to talk to me about this or if you´re interested in working in Germany feel free to give me a call 0049-800-2553447.

    regards,
    Thomas

Rather strange for a typo to be found in an "official" job offer.

Furthermore, Aerotek is a staffing agency... not a translation company.

I hate to play the part of a backseat mod, but I smell a scam. I'd love to see this guys' IP address.

    This thread aint staying open.
Advertising like this does not sit well here.
    It is the wrong section.
Plus, most members here would be under the legal age to put them under contract.

Also, if you are the number one staffing agency in the U.S I'm sure you have contacts and ways to go about finding people rather then posting here.
