I'm not 100% sure this is the proper board in which to make my latest Pokemon creation known, but I wanted everyone to get a chance to check out this article I wrote about the series at gamingtarget.com/article.php?artid=6531 - It's a Retrospective of the ENTIRE Pokemon Universe.... I call it The Pokemon Series Pokedex.

While it's great to get everyone to check it out, I'm not simply advertising my article. I also want to get some feedback from diehard Pokemon fans to ensure that I got everything in the feature correct. Also, an other opinions you have about it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

(Apparently, I can't make this a link yet, but if anyone else can below to ensure I get some good feedback, it would be great. If you check it out, you'll know for sure it's not anything like advertising since this took A LOT of time and effort.)

I'd say the Pokémon General forum would be the better place for this, as you are not showcasing a Website. So I'll move it over there.

I cant remember. But was pokemon red out before season 1 came out?

It really depends on whether you're talking about the North American Red/anime dates or the Japanese originals. From what I remember in doing my research, the Japanese game did launch in February 1996. I don't think I ever found out when the anime began there. In the U.S., the game and the anime launched in the same month (September of 1998), with the cartoon coming just a days before the first two colored cartidges arrived in stores.

Glad you guys liked it so far.
