    I dont know if you people seen it or not, but I lvoed it. b4 the Episode started it said stay back 5feet away from the Tv and dont watch it alone and also NO CHILDREN ALOUD TO WATCH IT and what not. Anyway my point is. It was banned in Japan cause they got more sensitive eyes then us. and it prooved it after the episode where they had a news broadcast of it for 15min. whoever wrote this

    YOUR WRONG! WB wnated to show it, and they didnt destroy the film so STOP MAKING UP STORYS!...loser
     
    Uh..KidsWB! didn't want to show because they didn't have any rights to airing Pok?mon before the Paras and Parasect episode. o_O It IS banned world-wide. The film is either destroyed or locked away. I'm assuming you were watching a subbed version, so the warning was placed in the sub. Before this episode, I don't think there was any anime that displayed such warnings. The reason a majority of those people fell victim to the episode was:

    1) The time Pocket Monsters airs. It airs a little before evening time, so people aren't in well lit rooms when it comes to watching TV.

    2) The whole episode was to blame, not just the seven second scene with the mansion exploding. Tons of bright white and yellow lights along with quick flashing red/blue/green lights.

    3) A majority of the people who fell victim to seizures were epeleptics (not sure how it's spelled), meaning they're prone to seizures. Plus they've watched it on TV. Watching it on a computer has a less harmful effect. The worse that could happen is a headache or strained eyes.
     
    No need. I already have the episode subbed and in crystal clear condition. o_O Plus I wouldn't pay for fan-recorded anime at all. Usually the quality is horrid and not worth the money. Especially if I can easily find it online.
     
    And not to mention it's even more illegal to pay for it. :P

    Indeed. There's even subbers who are against people selling their work on eBay since they offer it for free online. >_>
     
    I say why waste $15 when you can get it for free.....even the raw of 38 is in good quality. I also own the subbed version b/c these people break their backs to do a great job...it shows in their work.

    You make a thread for the same reason everyone else comes up with a thread to discuss. If no one took the time to make a thread, regardless if it is an old topic, there would be no posts here. By your convention, we should only discuss current things on Pokemon.

    Not that I was friends with the guy, it's almost pathetic that the moderators around here banned him from the board. Sure his posts were crude and lacked correct spelling and sentence structure, but it seems like free speech is very limited on this forum as a whole. :P
     
    Free speech isn't what everyone thinks it to be. It always comes at a limit and his posts seemed pretty..well..dumb. >_>;

    Well, regardless of how "dumb" a post is, everyone should have a right to post their opinion to the topic at hand, which in this case, was Pokemon.
