3rd Gen hoenn dex & johto starters

    In order for me to obtain a johto starter do I need all 202 pokemon because I have sapphire and emerald and the only pokemon I can't get is Zangoose and I'm not gonna buy the game just for it. It is especially hard to find pokemon Ruby in stores and it is usually Pre-owned for at least £20.
     
    You need ALL 202 Pokemon except for Deoxys, and Jirachi, but yes you need a Zangoose, do you have any friends who have Ruby?

    Edit: Next time asking a question post it in the Simple Questions thread, unless it's really complicated.
     
    Nope so that means i'm just gonna have to buy it
