Thought I forgot about this? No, actually I didn't, I just delayed it, and continued today.
I had last saved at Mauville, after beating Norman, getting Surf and buying TMs. Surfed east and fought my way to the weather institute. Caught a Tropius there and beat Team Magma. Got to Fortress and beat Winona. Now somewhere on the route between Fortree and Lilycove, which is according to the map called Route 120.

Renamed after the goddess of the correspondent underworld (which is unlike Hell a cold place) in norse mythology (which I am currently a fan of). I think it fits, first because of the aforementioned reason that it's a cold place, and because Hel is not exactly a beauty, and neither is Jynx.

As you can probably guess from above, I'm finish now.
After doing all the Team Magma stuff, things went fast. I beat the Twins with no effort (2 of my Zigzagoons leveled both from level 5 to level 9 here, I hope it doesn't matter), beat Maxie after rushing through his cave, OHKOd Groudon and beat Wallace, here the Milotic was the first Pokemon since a long time that caused me some minor troubles. After rushing through Victory Road in maybe 10 minutes, I was already standing at the gates of the Elite 4.

*bulbagarden.net image removed*Despite having a major type advantage, especially with Sharpedo which none of Jynx's moves could hit for normal damage, he was easy. 1 CM and 1 Ice Beam per Pokemon did the job.

*bulbagarden.net image removed*I had some luck here. While I CM'd on Skarm, a Toxic missed and Jynx barely survived a Steel Wing. After setting up some more on Claydol because I wanted the Light Screen it set up when I healed to go down again, I swept him.

I want all three of Loki's children, and the next shall be the Fenriswolf.

Changed my mind, I will do Poochyena in Fire Red instead, with what resembles the Midgard Serpent most: Gyarados. That it's prevo is my favorite Pokemon is pure coincidence.

mondays suck - Magikarp / Jörmungand / Evolving / Ruby

Since Gyarados has a horrible physical movepool in this generation that gets completely walled by levitating ghosts, I will probably use a mixed set like Return, EQ, DD, Surf. Pure physical could only work with extreme Hidden Power luck, and pure Special would utterly suck.

*Ground/Grinded till Snubbull got bite.
*Beat the Gym with a bit of trouble (Nosepass spammed Harden D: )
*I think Snubbull was about level 15...

*Grinded/Ground in the cave untill Snubbull Evolved into Granbull
*Attempted to fight brawly. Failed at the Makuhita
*Bought potions, failed like 5 more times because of random crits, missing when Metitite used Focus Punch, and Bulk Up spam from Makuhita.
*Leveled up one more time
*Fought the Gym, at level 24, No problems at all.
*Went to Slateport
*Fought a few people.

Wow, that was a lot.

Oh, and somewhere along the way, I looked up the IV's of Granbull, it has a 31 in HP! and like 27 in Attack. But Horrible speed (like 7, and it is pretty slow), and decent other stats.

Anyways, I beat Wattson without beating the region around or doing any grinding before. How? I taught Gyarados Flamethrower with the money from Nuggets that my Pickup slaves generate.
Just took me 3 attempts to get the one flinch (King's Rock can make Dragon Rage cause flinches, how awesome is that?)I needed to beat Magneton. Actually I was just hoping for it using T-Wave or Supersonic which it had used on the attempt before, and I only lost because of really bad luck (parahax) and some Super Potions(Flamethrower did like 95%)

I just lost against Maxie in the Underwater cave, but I saved it anyways because I haven't been saving for hours. I had a on of bad luck agaisnt him, first Mightyena swaggered me and I somehow defeated it while losing many HP, then against Camerupt Gyara hurts itself once again, Camerupt uses Crit Rockslide, KO.

More Update: I'm standing at the gates of the Elite 4, but I just can't beat Phoebe, stupid Curse... Maybe I should just use my 20 Zigzagooned Rare Candys I have in my bag, but beating the Elite 4 at almost level 80 is not as awesome as around level 60... But it seems like there's no other way...

Damn, I never had that much trouble with the Elite 4 before in a Solo Run.

*bulbagarden.net image removed*Like Glacia, he always lucked me to death. 3 or 4 times in a row, I easily handled Skarm and Claydol, had some trouble with Armaldo and Cradily, OHKOd the Aggron and got killed by a crit (well, not always, only 2 of 3 or 3 of 4 times, the other time I forgot to heal and got killed by Hyper Beam) something from Metagross. When I finally won, I had more HP than usually and he got no crit.
