Hello, again, everyone! It's great to be back. Anyhoo...what would
Brendan sound like, you ask? Ah, this topic brings back memories. I
talked about it a lot back home. I think a deeper voice would fit him.
I imagine him sounding something like Anakin Skywalker in the Star
Wars: Clone Wars Microseries on Cartoon Network. He's played by a
dude named Mat Lucas. He usually has a calm, steady tone, and has
an odd sort of accent to his voice. He barely pronounces the "R" in
words. It's tough to explain; you really have to hear it to know what
I mean.
As for how he could fit into the series, well, personally I think that he'll
probably appear in the Hoenn League as one of Ash's opponents,
possibly as the "Richie/Harrison"-type character that Ash befriends
before the tournament, and eventually loses to. Did you ever consider
the possibility that he and May know each other already? I mean,
if the writers are using the games' logic, that would probably make
Brendan Professor Birch's son, since May is Norman's daughter. And,
it was mentioned in the show that the Professor is a friend of May's
family. So, it's almost certain that he must have introduced Brendan
to her at some point. An intriguing thought, isn't it?
