Well, this happened at about 7:30 this morning after I check my honey trees for a munchlax. After an unsuccessful find, I decided to put 3 things of honey on each tree (hopefully increasing the chances of munchlax appearing). Normally when you put honey on a tree, it says "There is a sweet scent in the air, would you like to put honey on the tree?" and then once you do it, it says, "The bark is slathered with honey, would you like to put honey on the tree?".

Well with 3 trees, once the first message appears and I put honey on the tree, it would once again say the first message as if I never put any honey on the tree. The 3 trees were the one to the left of Eterna, the tree to the right of Pastoria, and the tree to the left of Veilstone. I am certain that I put honey on the tree. So does anyone have any explanation for this?

Also, does anyone have any tips for finding munchlax?

How long afterward did the messages pop up? Because if you leave the trees alone for too long without checking, a pokemon will come along and eat the honey off the tree before you can fight it and you have to start over.

I'm assuming that it was right afterward from your post, but it doesn't hurt to check.

I dunno about the honey problem you're having...but I can explain the Munchlax problem.
Munchlax has a 1% chance of appearing on a tree.
Oh, and btw, putting extra honey on won't do anything.

Yeah, it was about a second after i put the first honey on the tree.

Thanks, at least i dont have to waste money on more honey.

True. Muchlax is very rare to find. And putting more and more honey on the trees won't change anything. Keep trying, Muchlax will surely show up. Check your pokedex to see where Muchlax is usually found. Try putting honey on the trees in that location.

    Good luck finding one.

Well, My only answer is to import Snorlax from the GBA.

And not to sound like a Moderator, but if one of them caught you doing that Bug Catcher Nick, they'd probably give you a Warning.

Don't bother trying to find Munchlax. You never will. I tried for weeks, to no avail. Just breed a Snorlax.

Exactly what I'm trying to say. Import a Snorlax from the GBA and breed it (Preferably with a Ditto).

I have a bunch of Munchlax if you want one.

Putting more Honey only makes the Pokemon in the trees stay for a longer time. It doesn't effect a certain Pokemon's rarity. Munchlax is extremely hard to find. Just breed a Snorlax.

just so you know: when youll breed, then let your snorlax hold full incense, otherwise itll be just another snorlax (biiiiig baby)
