Ever since I started battling competitively and breeding to do so properly, I've always used Super Training to hone the stats of my Pokémon in specific areas. I had never used EV hordes to do the same, but boredom and wanting to explore an alternative made me try it yesterday.

Most websites say each EV Training hotspot (like Mt. Pyre's Shuppet hordes, which is where I went to gain Attack EVs) has a 100% encounter rate for that Pokémon, but I found my Shuppet horde hunting interrupted by Meditite hordes which slowed the process down a lot and is incredibly frustrating.

Is there no way to ensure 100% encounter for a specific Pokémon to streamline EV training process with hordes? Or should I return to Super Training?

You just have to find the right areas is all. The deal with the Shuppet/Meditite issue is that you're doing it in Mt. Pyre's outdoor area. Go inside it, that's when hordes are nothing but Shuppet.
