Horseback Riding RP!

Jade's concentration could not be broken. They were going to conquer that wall today. They leapt over a small hedge with a beautiful motion and turned to the wall.

Sweetie's strides were perfect, Jade rode her as if she was part of the horse. Sweetie's pace quickened as they neared the wall. It was coming closer and closer, Jade thought they would make it over. She knew they would.

The wall was a mere foot away. Jade stood slightly on her stirups, ready to soar over.

Everything came to a crashing halt. The black arabian's hooves stopped abruptly, and Jade flopped over the wall alone.

She cursed under her breath as she hugged her arm to her. Blood blossomed on her tan riding shirt.

Ignoring her wound, she went and checked on Sweetie. Finding no injuries, she gave the horse a weak smack and a stern scold. She lead the horse back to the start to try again.
 
While Blanco was cantering Giggles spotted a young girl trying to get her horse to jump.

"She looks firmiliar, like the girl who helped the other girl who needed help and, uhh, never mind," Giggles said to herself irratatted. Blanco nickered at the horse he passed by and turned his head.

"Blanco, pay attention, Blanco, Blanco were going going to the course, Blanco," Giggles said sternly. But Blanco just stopped, and started to trot closer to the horse.

"Blanco she's trying to train, Blanco, Blanco we should be trianing too," Giggles pulled at the reins, "Blanco, you're being a bad boy today aren't you," Giggles scoled Blanco gently. Blanco ignored Giggles' voice and started to canter up to the horse.

"Sorry," Giggles said to the girl once Blanco wa trying touch noses with then other horse. "By the way, I'm Giggles, and this is my horse Blanco, were gonna go train now if Blanco starts behaving and lets you guys train too," Giggles said trying to steer Blanco away, but Blanco stood his ground.

"By the way, is your horse scared of jumping that wall?" Giggles asked the girl concerned.

"Yes," Jade said ruefully. "We have yet to conquer it," she said quietly.

"I'm sorry, I'm being rude. My name is Jade, it's nice to meet you Giggles."

Sweetie was quite interested in the new horse. She touched his nose with hers and nickered.

"Oh, and this subborn gal is Sweetie," she added, motioning to the black Arabian below her.
 
"Hello Jade, I'm so sorry if we disturbed you," Giggles said to Jade as Blanco held his neck long trying to reach Sweetie. He nickered and whinnyed at Sweetie trying to get it's attention.

"Oh, Blanco is stubborn sometimes too!" Giggles laughed, "Anyways, why don't you try new things like telling that beautiful baby you've over there that she's okay if she jumps it, reasure her, give her confidence, make her fell that she can do it," Giggles suggested, "I'm sorry if you already knew that but it's always nice to gives some advice," Giggles smiled at Jade.

"See ya round Jade," Giggles said as she got a good grip on the reins and tried pulling Blanco away. Blanco moved very slowly away, but he was moving agian.
 
Jade watched as the two walked away. Sweetie lost interest quickly and began rubbing her head on the fence post.

Yes, I did know all that.... Jade thought to herself. I've been riding sine I was 4... That's 11 long years of horses.

She gently pulled on Sweetie's reins and took her back to the start of the course. She set about going over the wall again.
 
Giggles turned back in the saddle to see the two trying to jump the wall.

"We should already be practicing for the show Blanco, like Jade and Sweetie," Giggles said giving Blanco a pat on his his neck. Blanco flicked his ears, showing that he was listening.

Once Giggles halted Blanco, they were close enough to the course, Blanco's muscles tensed with eagerness.

"Settle down boy, look at this course, I'm almost sure we won't get a clear round, you've never jumped hedges that high!" Giggles said suprised with the hedges, "At least they're not like the British Grand National jumps," Giggles looked on the bright side.

Blanco was in ready postion to bolt and concer the course. Giggles looked at Blanco as best as she could and saw his hooves were already in the right placing and he was ready for a command. Giggles sat the right way in the jumping saddle and commanded Blanco to start cantering.

Blanco took off at a perfect stride. His hooves pounded agianst the dirt trail showing which way to go. Giggles hair wipped back once the wind hit it.

The first jump came up into view when Blanco jumped. Giggles was already in the right postion and just enjoyed being in the air while she could. Blanco's muscular legs stretched out, Giggles felt if she was heading for heaven. Blanco's front feet fell into and perfect beat, but when his back hooves came down and hit the ground, one of them slipped. Blanco reared up, trying to keep his balance.

But Giggles couldn't keep her balance long enough. Giggles didn't tighten the girth enough and the saddle pad slipped off, next was the saddle.

Giggles tried her best to keep a good grip on the reins, but she soon fell off with the saddle.

Her back slammed agianst the top pole and she slipped off the jump and one of Blanco's hooves went over Giggles boots, it had so much pressure agianst her boot it hit her toe inside of it.

"Owwwww!" Giggles bellowed in pain, "somebody, help me!"

Sophie walked into Duchess' stall. "Rise and shine, sweet pea!" she exclaimed to the horse,who was already awake. "Is your hoof better now?" Duchess whinnied happily. Sophie put on Duchess' saddle and led her out to the meadow in front of the stable. There she mounted and trotted Duchess to the jumping course. Duchess stamped her feet unhappily and whinnied loudly,as if she was angry. "Whoa,Duchess!" she said quietly. "What is it,girl?" Then she looked at what Duchess was looking at and saw a girl that seemed in pain. Riding over to her,Sophie offered a hand and said,"Oh dear! Are you okay?"
