After all these years I'm still disappointed that we never got the PERFECT version of Gen 7. SM had a fantastic arc for Lillie and Lusamine, but the ending was ambiguous and wishy-washy and full of messed-up implications, with no indication whether or not Lillie reconciling with Lusamine was a good idea. USUM fixed the gameplay and made the ending less open-ended, but we lost a fantastic villainess in the process.
I'd love for a Goldilocks variant of this story to be made someday. When they get around to Gen 7 remakes, they need to combine both stories in some way that mixes the best bits.
