How are you liking the new gym system?

    Dropped my Gengar in a nearby gym the day it rolled out, and one thing that I'm really loving is being able to keep up the motivation of gym Pokemon without having to go all the way there, as well as being told when my Pokemon died and got kicked out. One thing I'm going to miss though is the fixed coin bonuses, as they're now more diminished. Originally you could toss a Pokemon in there, grab your 10 coins and walk off. However here it seems tied to the amount of hours your Pokemon defended, and I managed to get a measly 3.

    I just tapped on it and fed the berries to the defending Pokemon. At some points though it stated the Pokemon was full and I have a feeling that was put in as a timer to stop players from mass-feeding berries in order to make the gym unbeatable. But still, it's a great way of throwing away excess berries without tossing them.

    I see, unfortunately my gyms are out of reach on the map from where I am, shame too as the pokestops show but not the gyms. I have to hoof it lol
     
    I have a query now I managed to get 3 pokemon in on 3 gyms, looking at the gym badge on the profile, two are showing the red heart starting to turn black but on one it is still all red and it has been in there for 11 hours do you think that is a bug. Also can anyone explain the stats show time defending and the timer is active and going.

    But the stat that says Time Defended 1 Hr 16m and this one never moved any idea what that is, the other stats and pretty clear.
     
    I think the new gym system is fantastic, and much more fair than before..
    I have had times with the old gym system where I have beat a gym, and then someone else from another team took the gym right back before I even put a Poke'mon in, I don't think it is possible for them to do that now.
     
    I don't understand the time allocated for the raids, I only get about 45 seconds if I am on my own, no idea how many seconds you are allocated if there are a few of you doing the raid.
     
    I love it, now that I can finally put my Pokémon in a Gym. They were stalled since last September in my city, no way to get in, no way to beat one. Now I get the chance to have some coin, sadly it's 50 Coin max per day, not per Pokémon. I think that sucks but otherwise they wouldn't monetize their game as much
     
    I just noticed something really stupid.

    Niantic, do some research, try to avoid being stupid.

    If you view your gym badges, you can click the map symbol in the lower left to see a pixelated world map that shows you how many gym badges you have and where these are.

    That map is badly distorted and shows Greenland to be much larger than Australia, as a company that pays millions to use all of google maps for their game, they used the stupidest map projection ever, an abomination called the mercator projection.
