4th Gen How did those traps get there?

    I didn't know what category to put this in, so I put it here. I'm sorry if I'm upsetting the moderators. OK here goes. There's a lot of traps concentrated around the east side of the main Sinnoh underground in Platinum. My brother doesn't have a secret base, but I do have a secret base under Sunnyshroe in Pearl. Does Gamefreak put traps in random places, or does my secret base in Pearl still active when the game is off?
     
    There are traps randomly buried all around the Underground. Spheres are the only things that are limited to the person that buried them.
