i had a critical hit when i was about 10 hp left after dragonite missed me i thought i was done for!

Lapras solely took care of his entire team. I had Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, and Surf to deal with all 6 Pokémon. The only problem I had was against Aerodactyl who naturally attacks first. He used Rock Slide that put Lapra's HP in the red zone. I could of easily counterattacked after that hit but it happened to flinch Lapras so I had to use a bunch of healing items until the time was right.

I have yet to fight the second team though.

First time round, I used a combination of Togetic's Hyper Beam, switch, Dragonite & Life Orb does some smashing, then Togetic for the finale when Dragonite Faints. Second time round, am yet to do.

I beat lance with an empoleon with ice beam and garchomp with dragon claw.

:S Still trying to beat him for the first time... I traded over my Poliwrath to Plat to have it learn IcePunch and BrickBreak via the Battle Frontier tm and tutor a while ago, but I haven't even got round to making a team for the tower yet because of the upcoming nationals in UK...

By completely overleveling my Dragonair (yes Dragonair). I made his defeat humiliating for him, he got his butt kicked by a lv. 56 Dragonair. Haha I wish pokemon sprites had expressions on their faces when they faint (like in PMD)
