How do I change the title of a thread?

    I posted a ROM hack at version 1.0.0 and would like the title to mention the 1.1.0 update. I already searched the archives and found a thread saying to use the Edit Thread option under Thread Tools, but I only get three options there: Show Printable Version, Subscribe to this Thread, and Add a Poll to this Thread. Do I have to ask a mod to do this?
