    I'm not happy with the way I'm being treated on PC. Everything I say has to either be rejected, made fun of, or dismissed. I joined this site less than 2 weeks ago and I've already got one user on my ignore list.

    I came here because I like Pokemon and I want a site where I can post my ideas and concepts, without having all these things happen to me.

    If this keeps up, I'm leaving.
     
    I don't think the mods will do that. :[. Just ignore them. If the others want to be idiots, let them.
     
    Jessica's right. All the immature jerks you're describing (I looked at some of your posts for evidence...) are just petty and can be ignored. I'm sorry you haven't enjoyed Pokécommunity, but I sort of undertand what you're talking about. People can tend to be jerks. If you don't like the kind of people who talk to you now, maybe you're in the wrong part of Pokécommunity. Trust, me there are people who understand you here. You're just being overwhelmed by crap.

    Awww. This thread makes me sad. :(

    People can be really mean sometimes, but like others have said, you can't let that get to you. I'm sorry to hear that there are a lot of people treating you badly, little guy. But just as there are so many people out here on PC that are mean to absolutely anyone, there are just as many nice people on here. So that's something to look forward to. You just gotta know who to befriend and talk to, which isn't hard to find if you search hard enough. :)

    There are just some people out there, even when people need help, who are rude to someone. Some people assume that someone crying out for help is just asking for attention without really know anything about the person, while others take a more logical step to suggest something. I mean, even if someone was reaching out for attention, what's so wrong about that? Sometimes, all we need is a little positive attention for some motivation. Personally, I think it will turn out to be better than you thought it would be had you not posted this thread. At least this way you can see people who actually care about how you're being treated, despite not knowing much about you.

    I don't know if this will help you at all, but I felt really bad to see someone so new who seems to be well educated and can type properly be treated like that. :(

    But to answer your question, accounts aren't deleted by staff unless there's a REALLY REALLY good reason (and most of the time they find it more logical to just change the username of the member instead).
     
    I know I'm a not a mod here.. so I can't technically help, but I actually really applaud you for taking the time and making this thread.
    I really believe that this thread is making a good point to the community. There have been a lot of trolls and mean people around lately. I mean.. even look at all the recent blogs. A lot of them are talking about getting bogus negative reps, and just mean people they're encountering in general.

    Try not to let it spoil your fun. There are a lot of people that really love and respect your ideas. Try to push through this rough patch, and hopefully things lighten up for you :3
     
    Wow good job man on the OP. i feel bad for you as you have been attacked a lot it seems and its bad that such an excellent member wants to leave do to mean spirited people.

    Wow, my little speech just got owned. xD But really, it's true. Uneducated, disrespectful people who just like to stomp on the ideas of other people... meeeeeeeehhhhhh, who needs their respect anyway? Their Kryptonite is having others walk away. Because then, who's there to bully? No one. If you really like Pokémon, writing about them, talking about them, looking at them, playing with them, stay at Pokécommunity, because the Sun's always somewhere on the globe! *Tears up*
     
    Forget about people you treat you bad or reject your ideas. It's not their place to judge ideas, it's only their own opinions. We just have to move on.
     
    There are always going to be people who don't like your ideas, so just try not to let it get to you. What does hurt is when they present their dislike in a way that's hurtful and mean.
    There will likewise always be people who love your contributions and want to see more out of you. Just remember that, and don't let the others get to you. There will always be someone who appreciates what you do. People are entitled to their own opinions, some of which might disagree with yours. It all depends on how they express those opinions though. It's wrong when they do so in a hurtful way.

    That said...I have to lock this thread since we don't allow threads of this nature. If you ever have any more concerns or if you feel like someone's mistreating you, feel free to PM myself or another staff member. Or report their post and a mod will take care of it. ^^
