How do i keep RPGMxp games from looking Pixelated

yeah title basically everytime i start up any rpg maker xp game it looks well pixelated the graphics look smooth on the screenshots so it must be me can someone help me out???

If this is a Pokémon game you're talking about, start the game, go into options, and change the screen-size to the smallest one.

ok it works on the pokemon games but i cant do anything about it on this other one i found Mario Rpg the seven sages i cant find any options anywhere and i think it was made in rpg maker 2003.

EDIT: i just fixed it all i had to do was press F4 to change it from fullscreen into a window
