    How do I upload gif images and make it my avatar?

    The same way as .jpg images. You have to be careful though because .gif images can be too big, so that might be your problem.
     
    GIF images used here have to be fairly small files, whether they're used for signatures or avatars. If they're over-sized as sig pics then they'll be disabled. If they're over-sized as avatars then they'll just freeze on the first frame, and not animate when uploaded. D:
