How do i spread pokerus? and what does the little smiley face thing mean? I have it on my scizor and yeah just want to know!

Basically, put it your active party, and as long as you go into a battle, it's likely to spread to the Pokemon nearby it. Thennn to keep it, just put it in your PC box! And the smiley face means it once had pokerus but it expired :x The effects still last, but it won't spread though. Sooo hopefully your Scizor isn't the one with the smiley face. :(
