How do I make a pokemon game with game maker? i would like to know.

Please do not post such entirely pointless posts. Oh, and on the subject of the original post, it's actually extremely difficult, and definitely too difficult for a beginner. Try working your way up to it.

I must agree with you, Glitchfinder. Creating a Pokemon Game by using Game Maker is hard. Elfin123, if you want to create a Pokemon game, you should use Sphere or RPG Maker XP. ^^

GM is if you have very large ambitions, which tons of new features.

RPGXP is best to get started, or rm2k3

Well, if you google search RPG Maker XP, one of the first results should be the official Enterbrain site, where you can download a trial version.

EDIT: Just don't try to use RMXP on Vista, it doesn't work, although illegal versions reportedly do.
