How do Pokemon Events Work?

Ok so tomorrow Im going to the Toys 'R Us Regigigas Event..
And I was wondering..
How does the whole process work??

• Is there a stand that you go to?
• Or can you just basicly walk through the door, and get it, without the help of staff?
