I do not know the exact steps, but if you look at cheats on the bulbapedia web site, it tells you how to on all the different games.

This method is only available for use in Pokémon Emerald. It can only be accessed after the player has beaten the Elite Four, as it requires that they are able to visit the Battle Frontier. Once the player is at the Battle Frontier they must do as follows:

1. Go to the Battle Tower.
2. Deposit the Pokémon that will be cloned into a box, preferably an empty one.
3. Save the game through the normal method.
4. Withdraw the Pokémon from the box. Make sure that you don't deposit any Pokémon during this step because you will most definitely lose it!
5. Talk to the nearest receptionist to the PC.
6. Enter any competition, and when the lady asks you to save, select "Yes". There should be a short pause before the real save screen appears. Restart the game [COLOR=#009600! important][COLOR=#009600! important]system[/COLOR][/COLOR] after the pause. If one restarts during the pause, it may corrupt one's save data, but this will not ruin a player's [COLOR=#009600! important][COLOR=#009600! important]save [COLOR=#009600! important]file[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR]. If a player allows the game to save, then the cloning will not work.

Once the game is powered on again, the player will appear in front of the receptionist. This is because the game has saved data during the short pause, and once [COLOR=#009600! important][COLOR=#009600! important]game [COLOR=#009600! important]play[/COLOR][/COLOR][/COLOR] has started again, the player can check their party and the PC box, and both will have the cloned Pokémon they chose. This method is 100% data corruption-free as long as the steps are followed correctly. Items may be duplicated in this method by having a Pokémon hold the item. Items may also be duplicated by having Pokémon in the PC hold the item before saving, taking the item from them, then performing the glitch. The result is having the item(s) in the [COLOR=#009600! important][COLOR=#009600! important]inventory[/COLOR][/COLOR], but a copy of them still being on the Pokémon in the PC. This method is probably the most efficient of all the methods.

To clone a pokemon you first...

1. Get a Ditto (Which I can porvide) and the pokmeon you want to clone in your party
2. Go to the Day Care Center
3. Put the Ditto and the pokemon you want to clone in the Day Care Center.
4. Wait a while.. And check the bald man! (Lol)
5. And eureka! A Cloned pokemon in an Egg

Bad Part is you have to wait for the egg to hatch and then you have a cloned pokemon of the pokemon you wanted clone!!!

Anyway...cloning involves either the GTS (as detailed in the stickied FAQ) or a cheat device. Likely, you are NOT going to get much help as far as AR cloning goes, so you will have to take a look in the FAQ.

Ummmmmm.....Armii....this is the Diamond/Pearl board. Basicly cloning envolves godly timing and an unholy amount of luck. Like jirachistar said go to Bulbapedia, or there's always plenty of vids on YouTube.
