[Other] How do you add Fairy type to Fire Red?

Hi! I'm working on a hack and I wish to add fairy type, like what has been done in Pokemon Glazed and Pokemon Red Story. I have tried Mr.DollSteak's patches that add new moves and fary type, but it didn't work for me and I don't understand the .txts. Can someone please help me with this! Thanks in advance!
