How do you decomp hack pokered?

I downloaded porymap but it doesn't recognise Pokemon firered and I can't open it.


Is there a way to decomp hack Pokemon firered or do I just stick with binary hacking

So, first, you made your thread in the wrong section, so I moved it here. Second, pokered and pokefirered are different projects. If you want to hack Pokémon Red Version, use pokered. If you want to hack Pokémon FireRed Version, use pokefirered. Third, decomp hacking is really different from Binary hacking, and you edit the source code in it. So to make a hack of FireRed using pokefirered, you'll need to open the project folder (source code folder) from PoryMap. Getting started with deomp?
