How do you decorate your room/home?

I have posters on my walls and purple curtains on the windows. XD; There's not much else special.
 
My room's a messy mess. I don't know how I can call it decorated.
I've got posters of Blink 182, Sum 41, Green Day, Sex Pistols and countless other bands, some of which even I don't acknowledge, all on the wall left side of the door. My desk and bed is on the left side too. I've got amps and my guitar lying near the right side of my door. I've got countless books all over the floor, my desk and my bed. Aannd I've got my computer besides the door, a closet near the corner. A small table and lamp near the middle. My room's pink-ish with blue stripes which blend in pretty well. XD
 
I am a huge bunny and kitty fan. <3; So it's pretty obvious that my room's got a bunch of hello kitties and bunnies, Not only that I also have Taylor Swift posters and calendars on the wall.
 
I always put a lot of thought into my decorations in my room :) it's painted navy blue and I have white furniture. On my walls I have: a huge japanese fan, a vintage aerosmith poster, a slash poster, a boondock saints movie poster, a zac efron poster, a bulletin board with pictures of places i've been and places I want to see, 3 fashion magazine collages, another bulletin with band photos/vintage 60's-70's band photos/rolling stone magazine clippings, a bookshelf with a painting top of it, my non working fan has mardi gras beads around the blades, and finally my walls are covered with my dad's vinyl records.

i'm very fond of it and i'm kinda sad at how empty it's gonna look when I move out this summer :/ at least I can take most of it with me for my apartment
 
[FONT=&quot]My bedroom isn't really decorated at all, so to speak. It's plain and I haven't changed it since when I was like 10 years old or so. .__. It's cluttered with a boring computer table, a book shelf, so called ironing board and a wooden bed. The walls are painted light baby pink which has glow in the dark stars pasted on it. There is also a small vertical 3 sectioned picture frame, a mini split AC through the wall, a clock and then there are curtains on the windows which are of brown mustard in color. I know it doesn't match well with the wall. >__> I am not planning to change it any soon since I am moving house probably next month.

I don't know who you are, but I like you already. :D

I live in a rented apartment so paint/wallpaper/nails in the wall are out of the question. As such, the only decoration in the place are a pair of posters (both prints of M.C.Escher drawings) hanging in the dining area. My room is decorated very meagerly, as in just my desk that's covered in half-finished drawings and random notes. XD
 
Red paint, airsoft guns, guitars, and black bed. Suits my style perfectly. Although I keep a few secret spongebob stuff under my bed...
 
Basically Posters of Pokemon (which takes up one side of my room) and any other anime that I watch. I have a whole collage of the Bands that I listen to on my wall....and last but not least is my Pokemon Doll collection and my Mario collection sitting on top of my amiore in my room

My room is a complete disaster, and it doesn't help that I haven't gotten to redecourate since I was five years old. I've still got Pooh Bear wallpaper. D: Luckily, it's mostly hidden by the piles of junk everywhere. In fact, the only rad piece of furniture I have is my stereo. But I absolutely LOVE it. :D

Given the choice, my room would look like someone puked neon paint all over it, feature a lot of obsolete electronics, and the walls would be plastered with posters of New Order, Depeche Mode, and random posters of space. Plus, I'd have a cardboard cutout of David Tennant. <3
