6th Gen How do you soft reset Pokemon X and Y

I want to know how do you soft reset these games i want to get a shiny Xerneas.

Watch out though, as of yet, I haven't heard of anyone getting a shiny Xerneas. It's likely shiny locked, like Reshiram and Zekrom were

No. The Power button is to turn off. L+R+Start+Select brings you to the start up screen.

Smash the game with a rock....usually works.

Just so you know Xerneas is Shiny locked so however many times you soft reset it'll never be shiny.
