I've been wondering how you take GBA screenshots...do you need a pokemon printer or something like that? Or is it impossible? o.O

    What's an emulator? o.O
    T3h dragon-girl must know....

it is like a gba that goes on your computer ..the best i say is Visual Boy advance ..then go look on the net the game you want to play*pokemon emerald for example* then you download it and play it and where you want to take a screen shot press the print button on your keyboard*next to scroll lock and pause break*
then go to paint or any other place and go "edit" and click paste...there is your screen shot..but i would use paint...more easy to paste with

.__. There's a much easier (and quicker) way of taking a screenshot if you're using VBA.

First (and optional. This is jsut for the best quality), go to Options>Emulator>PNG format.

Find what you want to take a screenshot of, then go to File>Screen Capture. Save it to your desktop. Done.

    Takes about two seconds.

Yeah I always use my Visual Boy advance to take screen shots on Ruby.

Just use a camera and take a pic of your screen, or scan it.

That wouldn't look too good though. It'd give you what you want, but it'll look a bit funky.

    VBA quality.

Well I don't know if any of you knew this but by pressing F12 it takes an automatic picture and its saved in te folder where the emulator is at.

Yeah, the screen shot if you just take a pic of the screen isn't too good looking, but it beats doing anything illegal like a rom.

    A bit offtopic, but...

    Agreed.

However, ROM's become legal if you own the cartridge of the ROM (so I have a Japanese Emerald cart, and also a ROM on GBA).

So if you don't own the cart, and have the ROM, you have to have the cart within 24 hours of DLing the ROM or it becomes illegal to posses the ROM.

    >.> *continues off topic* ROMs are just straight up illegal, ownership of an actual cart or not. And I could care less. *pats his 1GB ROM folder*

Well they said All I was gonna tell you my VBA gives my all the screens a guy could want but only if you find the right rom. X_X. Um why do you want them?(sorry if its been asked) P.s. I know they are bad but I buy all the games I play as roms anyway. I just do it to play the game before it comes out in america.

VBA from what I have read is the best way to get screen shots. If you have anymore questions about taking screenshots ask them in Simple Questions, please.

Not only could this question been asked in Simple Questions, but this thread has gotten a off topic. Next time ask simple questions in Simple Questions. The link is in my sig and can be found in the group of stickies at the top of the R/S/E GBA area.
