I want to make a thread for my hack........
But i want it to have a kool background because i've seen alot of other people do it but i don't know how they do it.... Can anyone help me at all???

Its called CSS, or Cascading Style Sheets.

Eh, hard to explain really. For example, my signature is

[div="min-width: 100px; max-width: 500px; padding: 30px; float: center; cursor: crosshair; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-image: url(https://i33.tinypic.com/2mzhcao.png);"]aaaa text here[/div]

And the "customizable stuff" can be what the background image is, background color, border color and style, etc. You might find google helpful to guide you through CSS and whatnot. XD
