is it better if i use macho brace, or one of the bands?

well bands are specific for one certain stat EV training, while macho brace can train all of them, if you have pkrs then go with the bands if you can afford them.

so if i have a a pokemon woth pokerus and power weight then that 4 from the wieght is doubled?

If you have PKRS, and use a Macho Brace and say fight Starlys (+1 Speed EV) they would give +4 with PKRS and Macho Brace.

1 Speed EV + doubled because of Macho Brace = 2 + doubled because of PKRS = 4

While if you were using the Power Anklet fighting Starlys you would get:

    1 Speed EV + Power Anklet = 5 + doubled because of PKRS = 10.

All of the power items give +4 for each stat when training it, and are much more effective than the Macho Brace.

thanxs alot, that mean i messed up with my leafean and fighting biddofs lol time to turn off the game and start over

Wow...those bands are serious business. x_x Forget the Macho Brace + PKRS method.

    -Edit-
AH! Pokearab, don't start your game over. Why would you do that?

Exactly. Ashame that you need a total of 96 Battle Points to collect all of the Power items.

Yeah, the bands are a great way to cut down time on EV training.

On a side note; I HATE the Crawdaunt with Quick Claw and Guillotine...It almost never misses T_T

Just to be sure, the bands multiplies EV items by x4? So if I battled a Graveler, who gives 2 def, the right power item would make it 8, right? Or just +4, to make it 6?

No, it adds 4 EVs of the type the band gives

    For example

    Magikarp give 1 Speed

    Power Anklet adds 4

So that would be 5 EVs in Speed, then double that if you have Pokerus.

I was scared it was going to kill me. xD

I was going through Battle Tower to get the Power Anklet to finish EV training my Elekid and Gligar. Came across this Crawdaunt twice. First time it had two chances to hit, but didn't. Came across it again, and it missed, I felt lucky. But then later on my Sceptile had died, and I had Metagross and Swampert left. He had Meganium and Skarmory. I switched to Metagross. His Meganium Leech Seeded me, then I missed with Meteor Mash, giving it a chance to make a subsitute and slowly get my health down with Leech Seed, and when it was low, it'd just use Synthesis. My Metagross died, but then when I switched to Swampert it used Giga Drain, I Mirror Coated, it died... Skarmory next... it critical hit... -.-' I was so mad. xD

    On topic now...

Deathmage129 is right, all of the Power Items only add +4 instead of multiplying it by 4.

Say you're EV training against Machops for +1 Attack EV each time.

If you have the Power Bracer on: 1 Attack EV + 4 Attack EVs = 5

If you have the Macho Brace on: 1 Attack EV * 2 = 2

    Macho Brace + PKRS: 1 Attack EV * 2 * 2 = 4

    Power Bracer + PKRS: 1 Attack EV + 4 Attack EVs * 2 = 10

Best way to EV train is with the Power Items, it's even greater than Macho Brace + PKRS.
