I'm pretty new to 1.18 and i dont have any ideas but i want to make one. I have everything installed just don't know how and tried looking at tutorials but none were super helpful. Thx in advance

This and the wiki (https://essentialsdocs.fandom.com/wiki/Essentials_Docs_Wiki) are probably the two most useful resources you can find. It's not outdated enough to not be of use. Only specific videos or specific aspects are outdated, and you can easily find help on his Discord server if there's anything you don't understand after watching it. You also do NOT need to watch all 84 videos - just the first 9 or so should be sufficient, and you can pick or choose any videos you want to see after that. This is the only tutorial I can recommend, honestly.
You should get comfortable with the phrase "too long". Making a fangame is NOT easy work, and will likely take hours upon hours just to learn how to do basic things in your game. If you're not ready to spend that kind of time on your project, you're probably better off doing something else.

Yeah, and I'm sorry for the sort of rude response too. Just take the time to use the resources online, and you'll be fine!
I've heard some people say it's not a good idea, while others stream under "Sword/Shield", but I'm not on Twitch so I don't really know.
