4th Gen How does Plat. to HG/SS Trading work?

i dont think its in the programming its cuz dp wont reconise the pokemon when it trys to trade lyk in pokemon battle rev when you put in your sky form shaymin and it changes back to its old form


well in dp when trading shaymins new form or giritans it wouldnt reconise it because they hadnt invented them then but now in hs ss they know about them and lyk they will put them in the pokedex and plus 4 the gardicia flower maybe you can obtain it from a person in the game or in an event... i dunno?

It should not matter. Yes it will trade. In D/P/PL it will not matter at which time you can trade (to a degree, you must beat your rival first) to trade outside of the region. It is because they were probably produced before GameFreak got the OK from Nintendo to make HG/SS, so the did not leave room for extra scripts/side quests for outside-region trading except for GBA games (which really isn't trading, it's cutting and pasting save information into RAM and treated like a safari pokemon). HG and SS should have special quests to prevent all of the special dual type and uber ability Pokemon from regions not Kanto or Johto from dominating the story line (because most super difficult to beat pokemon were introduced in R/S/E or later). And that is what will probably happen. Pal Park will probably still exist, and definitely Mystery Gift (so event items like for Shaymin are transferable) and other pokemon staples like battling, union room, etc. Get your heads out of your butts and think, people.
