How does the AI work in the battle frontier? (binary)

If you mean the ai flags then I think it does work the same way. The ai flags for frontier battles seem to be set here.

The same flags are given to all frontier battles, except for battle factory battles which get their flags from the GetAiScriptsInBattleFactory function
