How exactly are people building their own Pokemon leauges?

    I don't mean to sound stupid, but I see other people making a Pokemon League of their own, and it looks cool and I'd like to form my own, but I have a ton of questions, like where would I begin, or do I need to have a perfectly breed, etc.

    Any help would be appreciated.
     
    Like the above guy said, you're gonna need some people who are gonna be committed to the league so it doesn't die because all the people for the challengers to face are afk.

    You'll also need to have some idea of the league structure, rules, theme, etc. Perfectly bred 'mons are only a necessity if you want them to be, and if you have your league battle on Pokemon Showdown/the PC battle server that doesn't even matter.
     
    even more of a noob question, where are the leagues on this forum found? i'd be interested in joining/being a part of one.
