I debated whether this belonged here or on Battle Revolution, but since the stuff in question involves more DP than BR, I put it here. Now everyone who's beaten the game knows you get a Surfing PIkachu. Everyone knows it's holding a light ball, and everyone knows it has Volt Tackle, Surfe, Tail Whip and Thunder Wave. But what differs are the IVs, nature, and personality. What are yours?
My particular surfing pikachu had a hardy nature, with an HP boosting personality. It's IVs were:
Hp: 31
Attack: 3
Def: 8
Special Attack: 29
Special Def: 13
Speed: 3
Lacking in the places that counts, which irked me. But HP at 31, along with it's HP boosting personality, means you'd have to hit him pretty hard anyway. Low attack equals bad Volt Tackle, so I had to get rid of that. Should have breeded it onto a PIchu first though... anyway, special attack is hefty, and coupled with the light ball it carries equals severe damage. Speed is horrible, but with Pikachu's naturally high speed and EV trained in speed, although it won't be as fast as it could have been, it won't be no Swampert either.
So anyways, currently I am EV training on Pachirisus for speed (thank god for Static) gave up Volt Tackle for Thunderbolt, and once I get the speed training done I'm going for Special Attack. He won't be no electric god or anything of that sort thanks to those bad IVs and nonsupportive nature, but he's at least a better special sweeper than the Luxray I chugged through story mode on. c.c
