how is the wii

Well, to be fair, the fact that there's no story is a pretty big drawback. But being able to play it on the Wii is still pretty cool.

It's just a shame they don't allow Legendary Pokemon in the online battles (I know some people have gotten around that, but I don't believe in cheating in Pokemon, unless it's to avoid having to go to a convention or movie).
 
Well it´s a good game for battles, the battle system is far superior to that found on the gamecube´s, but if you are a fan of the first generation of pokemons, you probably won´t like it very much, belive me.
The lack of story mode is not good aswell (however the story line of the gamecube games were, well, they were´t stories afterall:P)

Rent it first, and decide if it´s worth the money.

IMO it wasn´t.
 
Personaly I like this one better cause you get to fight people online, but I dont have the game yet.
