Note: the most you can have is 252 EV in one category. You can have up to 255 but then it'll have the same effect as 252 because EV reacts in groups of 4. So just cap your EV at 252 for one category, but great job as not too much trainer nowadays tell us EV as well ^_^


Salamence- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ lum berry
EV: Atk and Spd, 4 Hp

iron tail is useless as it is inaccurate, and steel type attack is quite crappy. use dragon dance instead to boost speed and attack

Zangoose- [atk + / sp. atk-] @ lum berry
EV: Spd and Atk, 4 Hp
-return/double edge
-swords dance
-shadow ball
-brick break

Double edge is from FRLG so that's an option. No point of 3 normal type attack as that's wasting slots. Don't use more than 1 damaging move of the same element with the exception to quick attack/extremespeed/mach punch/fake out, and explosion.

Absol
-terrible special sweeper... when its attack power is almost 200 stats higher... and since this team needs a special sweeper, I suggest you to switch Pokemon to something else

Absol's Special Attack hits the mid-200s, while it's Attack leaps way into the 300s. Plus it learns Swords Dance. Hmm, I wonder which type of sweeper it should be? ;)

My Absol:

Defence: 6

Swords Dance
Double Edge
Aerial Ace
Shadow Ball

Although Aerial Ace is there to take out Fighters, you most likely won't get a chance to Swords Dance up beforehand (unless you already have against another Pokemon). Shadow Ball is essentially his replacement Dark-type attack in Ghost form. Double Edge could possibly be switched with Return.

I suppose with Swords Dance in the set, you could afford to make it a Jolly nature (+Speed, -Sp Attack) to make it a bit faster. Your choice.

ok, 'cause I can shark better moves,than that but i will use your advice because you look like veterans.Can Metagross be used a SS?if not him, maybe milotic?Or houndoom?

replace absol with houndoom
i don't know any good movesets for houndoom
if u get a houndoom, ur Salamence's moveset should be this:
-dragon dance
-earthquake
-brick break
-hydro pump (breed with horsea/seadra/kingdra)(replaces fire blast because houndoom has fire)

I personally prefer fire blast just to get Skarmory easier, but i guess that it's up to the rest of your team which one to get.

Metagross is also a physical sweeper as the only special attack it can learn is psychic (and HP ____)

Houndoom can use the classical GSC set perhaps? I've never looked on to this Pokemon really... =/

Classic Houndoom: Sunny Day, Solarbeam, Flamethrower/Fire Blast, Crunch.

If you're going to be a cheater though, then just load him with the best special attacks. I don't think many people here are interested in recommending sharked movesets.
