4th Gen How is this possible?

    My cousin Jacob traded me a Spiritomb yesterday, and it's so messed up! I went through so many battles, and no Pokemon could harm my Spiritomb. It kept saying something about a "Wonder Guard" or something. It's sorta neat.. that it can't faint.. but I just want to know why it can't faint or get damaged. Maybe it's a glitch in the game?
     
    No, its a hack. And it can faint, with burn/poison/weather
     
    Your cousin gave you a hacked Spiritomb with the ability, Wonder Guard. Wonder Guard makes it so only attacks that are super effective can damage the pokemon and the only pokemon with this ability is Shedinja. Because Spiritomb has no weaknesses, it can't be hit. But recently, it was discovered that Fire Fang is the only attack that can by pass Wonder Guard.
     
    I promise this is my last post. OK so how exactly did he hack it? I'm not going to use it on Wi-Fi because I'll probably get in trouble.

    A cheat device (AR) can change it's stats and Abilities.
     
    Not only Action Replay, but GameShark, PokeSav, and any other cheat device that is compatible with the Nintendo DS and Diamond/Pearl. It's not a glitch, it just isn't legit. Wonder Guard is the ability exclusive to the Pokemon Shedinja, which allows the user to evade any not-very-effective and normal-effective hits. Only super-effective hits can damage the Spiritomb, and Ghost/Dark has no weaknesses, thus no super-effective hits. My advice is to get rid of it, as if it were found not many trainers would battle you.
     
    Thanks guys. I'll ask him about it the next time I see him, and as for the Spiritomb I'll just keep it in my PC and not use it for Wi-Fi.
     
    Interesting. Well I may as well bring someone w/ Fire Fang. You never know when you come across a WonderTomb online (Although I wish I could take out "know when you" out of that phrase.)
     
    You can also take WonderTomb out with a Kangaskhan or Miltank with the ability Scrappy AFAIK. Even Mold Breaker Rampardos can take it out since it dispels the effect of Wonder Guard.
