Ive never soft resetted for anything. I dont really plan on it.
Shiny pokemon dont really interest me a whole lot. I mean sure, if I came across one Id totally catch it just to have it, but other than that I dont care for them :)
I never bother resetting for shinyness, since it doesn't make them any better or worse, but I do reset to see if they have a good Nature. Luckily, I got Lugia and Suicune both with advantageous Natures on only the first try. Now let's see if I can do the same with Articuno.
