I think they'll make between 100 and 125 new ones. This could take a while though. I would like to see a baby form of Miltank or Tauros which randomly evolves into either one. You could get it by breeding a Tauros and Miltank together.
 
I'd say there would be 130 or more. There should be more pre-evolutions and evolutions of Pokemon that don't have any. I'd like to see an evolution or a pre-evolution of Lapras, and yes, there should be a Miltank/Tauros pre-evo that can be either one depending how its raised.
 
100. They been doing the same thing since G/S/C days. They did it again for R/S/E and they do it again for D/P/ Nobody is going to by a game that has 50 new pokemon unless it is completely different. They is a team of who knows what people proposing new pokemon everyday. It isn't that hard. This new pokemon stuff at small bites is only to keep us into the news. It just build up.
 
The way you have all been talking you act as if they only have one person making all the new pokemon... I have come up with over 20 by myself...

But seriously If I can come up with 20, and they have like 5 people 100 pokemon goal met XD... count all the people's made up pokemon and put them together, you have about 1,000+(and I don't mean the hybrid pokemon) so don't think that because you don't happen to like newer pokemon (more of a reason than I like the older ones better) I'm not a little kid on christmas morning when it comes to new things, but I enjoy to see updates.

Otherwise I think they have done a pretty dang good job for the new pokemon, nothing freaky and weird like when ruby and saph first came out, I also hope NoA can come up with better english names... so far they've done really good but it won't last too long I'm sure...
 
Let's get back on track: 451 total, which means 65 new pokes. Come on, you can't say there wasn't a deficit of creativity in the third-gen pool of new pokes. (Beautifly? Spheal? Come on, we had these pokes already!)
 
It should be like Kanto, Hoenn and Johto about 150 Pokemon. Not so many Pre and Evolutions of previous Pokemon. Maybe like 5 for each.

On second thought, 501 total wouldn't hurt. That's 115 new pokes. More than the Metal-gen, but less than the Advanced.

Of course, the first-gen's going to have the most "added" pokes. I wouldn't even consider it among the set of additions. They obviously couldn't reuse, since they were making the base set upon which future generations were to be based. Think of the first-gen as the game, and all subsequent games as its expansions. :)
 
I think the new pokemon will be 125-
 
well I would love to see 3 new pokemon,you know it could be why they are taking so long on the games,besidesamking them better
 
I dunno, I was kind dissipointed that you couldn't catch Eevee in the Advanced games. *prepares to get killed*
But I say 115-130. I Wouldn't like to see more evolutions. More pre evoltions makes a little more sence is you think about it. (In terms of storyline at least)
Going back to the Eevees for a bit, They have room to make more evolutions for it, what with the steel and grass missing from the bunch.
 
I think they should make exactly 114(including the ones already made), to make it an even 500. About 75 should be evolved or pre-evolved from old pokemon(but not only obtainable from eggs), and the rest totally new pokemon.

but that wont happen, they'll mess it up and make some weird number like last time.(Why 135?!)
 
115 puts it perfectly at 501. 500 known in-game pokemon, then there's always the nintendo event legendary. Besides, this gives us a challenge with the pokedex!

yeah, and lairon and aggron could almost be rhyhorn and rhydon...
 
But please this better not be mostly for the new set of Pokemon. Half of them are Evo's or Pre-Evo's because that will be wrong.
