4th Gen how often do you play online?

    So the playing online thing across other pkm trainers all over the world is sortof ne wi just wonder, is it played like any other game.

    people play for like 4-5hrs a day or is it played sparingly or how exactly or what do you do most online wiht this game.

    Im thinking abot purchasing a wi-fi thing, that connects to my computor's USB and apprently makes it wireless
     
    normally in the game the best fight you can get the champ of the pkmn league. And normally its highest lvl is 66. Against a lvl 100 thats easy to beat, so theres no real test.
    You might say the battle tower. But still no competition there not ev trained. But if you go up against an experienced player with 6 lvl 100s ev trained then you have a challenge to test your pokemon. See how truly powerful they can cope against another lvl 100 ev trained. Thats why people battle online.
     
    i dont understand, i thought people form the internet battle each other. battle tower is computor operated aint it?

    ok. Lets say i have a lvl 100 Dragonite, thats powerful. Only every time i enter the battle tower/league i win easy. But i want to know HOW strong the Dragonite is but theres only one way to battle. Online, against and experinced player with a party of lvl 100s. If i win its a great pokemon, if i lose you can work on it

    There's an online mode of Battle Tower that allows you to download teams of other people from the internet that use the same feature.
     
    wheres the fun in that or the skill.

    i waNT TO use the pokemon that ive used thru my journey from the first gym, why nwould i wanna download someone else team.

    I thought u connected the ds to the internet via wireless systema dn were ina room wiht a bunch of other trianers from round the world and you picked who u battled
     
    Well with Wifi you can see what your IVs are by getting an untouched pokemon and battle with a friend on level 100 battle to see what your stats are if you had it in breeding centre or whatever. It's normally used to caculate your pokemon IVs.

    It seems like everyone in this thread is completely misunderstanding each other. :P What Waka means is that you can download teams from the internet to fight against. I think.

    Anyway, I don't have WiFi, so I haven't been online yet. And I'm way too much of a cheapskate to buy that WiFi USB Adaptor thing. I'd rather find a way to use my normal wireless adaptor (I have no idea how to, though).
     
    I used to be an addict to online play, now I'm just taking a quick break.

    I will be back to playing online like next week just to get back into shape.
