Almost always. Since I have 'em for the natures that I breed most, it's easy to stick an Everstone on one and not have to worry about the gender of the other Pokemon. For Egg moves, i have to deviate from the strategy, but overall it just makes things much easier for me.
Breeding is the only reason I have half a box full of Ditto, BTW.
I will always use him. Even if I have a female I want to breed off of. I use Ditto. Its just so much easier to put him in and not need to worry if they will match together. Also if you leave Ditto in there long anough he will be a very high level once your done with him :)
Same as Prince_Of_Light. I use my Japanese Ditto for most breeding, or if I just want a Pokemon on a restarted DP cart that I can't get in game. For egg moves, I go insane and do whatever's necessary...but that's not often. I've only breed for egg moves to get a SubSeed Jumpluff. :]
In my pearl game I have two boxes of eevee. I have some modest eevees it's just that the IV determining phrase like for example "likes eat" doesn't reflect the IV I want to be the highest.
Back in the old days (Well leaf green anyway) I got a Dito to lvl100, and another to 80 odd jusy through sitting in the daycare breeding.
Now I only really use it if I want a particular gender (For example I want a female Cyndaquill so I stick a male Typhlosion and Dito in together 'till a lil' girl is made)
