1st Gen How old were you when you first played R/B/Y

Think I played it around year 4 so I'd have been about 9.

10 years later I'm still playing it.

i was like 7 or 8....christmas that year i got Red and blue and a gameboy pocket! next month for my b day i got Yellow and a Gameboy Color....man i miss childhood...:(

I found my cousin playing it when I was ten. I asked what is it and he told me that it's an old game. I then took it and fell in love at those crappy sprites. <3

Now, it's somewhere in my old toy box. :'(

I was five. I still remembering opening up that Christmas present and finding the limited edition Pokemon GameColor along with Pokemon Yellow.

It was awesome. ^_^

Thinking about it, I always assumed I was six, but I would have actually only been about five, if I'm thinking right. I was given red at Christmas, a few weeks before my sixth birthday, and the year after I was given yellow while spending Christmas abroad with family.

If i remember correctly i was about 9 it was christmas and my brother got blue and a gameboy color while i got red and a gameboy pocket... my aunt liked my brother more than me T_T

i think i was around 7 or so; gold was my first pokemon game (5 years old) and i bought blue for 10 dollars from one of my friends when i was 7 lol.

The first time I played one of the originals was just a few weeks ago xD
I started out with R/S, but now I'm interested in seeing what the older games where like so I got my friend to lend me his blue version, which he never plays so I can probably keep it.
