[Other] How to change May's and Wally's name?

I want May to be a guy and change her name, but i'm not sure how. Also how do i make her parents call her their son instead of daughter? Thanks for the help in advance :D.

You'll have to replace her battle sprites & OW sprites for that.
There are plenty of tutorials on how to do this in the tutorials section.

Sounds like you need some scripting lessons. If you just want to change what people call her in-game, you'll need to go through the game, decompile all scripts with the text "May" in them, and change it to whatever her (or his) new name is. If the new name is longer than three characters, you'll have to remake the scripts and compile them into the ROM so you don't overwright any existing data.

Well he can really just take the game, put it in the hex editor, and replace it that way. It'd be a lot faster, though it would require more care, especially since the manual method doesn't come with a built-in repointer.
