Hi everyone, I have a quick question you might be able to answer. I am preparing to sell a Pokemon cartridge for Gameboy Color. The cartridge is red, so I think it is the Red game and not the Ruby game. I barely played it but I would like to clear my activity from the cartridge so that whoever buys it doesn't start up the game and have my gameplay on it.

I was wondering how I clear off my current saved games from the cartridge so the person who buys it starts at the beginning of the game? I really know nothing about Pokemon so any help would be appreciated.

Just start a new game and save it before you get the pokemon, I don't think there is a way to delete the save file.

Ok. I started up the game and I have the option to continue my game or just to start a new one. Do you tihnk it's okay to sell the game like this, and the user can just select to start a new game? I probably walked about 5 feet in my current saved game. I don't even know what getting pokemon means. :) I mean, I literally did not play the game at all except for a few seconds. Thanks for the help.

There was a small code you could enter using a few buttons on the start up menu where you could make a new game or continue but i do not remember what it was sadly :(

i heard that if u press start select a and b 3 times all at once where it says continue game then itll reset, it worked for another of my gb games, may not work for pokemon though

I think that was the one i was trying to think of i remember there being a "B" in it, so it may work..i mean hey you got nothing to lose..
