2nd Gen How to evolve Haunter?

I just need to know if I need to buy another copy of pokemon Crystal on a separate 3ds which would involve making a separate Nintendo account or if for the games on 3ds and 3dsxl if they changed the way pokemon you have to trade evolve. O'd rather not have to try and make another accound and buy another copy if I do not have to, plus not sure how I would even trade between them if I did. XD

you will need another device to do it, you can trade it wireless in the pokemon center

so I do need to make another Nintendo account on my other 3ds and buy another copy then. Thanks for telling me, just kinda sucks it is the only way.

Yea, I've been collecting all the games since red and blue, though my original copies of red, blue, yellow, silver, gold and crystal no longer work, I have all the newer games too. Planning on getting a switch too, for the new gen when ever it comes out too. ^^
