3rd Gen How to get female starter?

I'm gonna play Fire Red, but I wanna have female starter pokemon. Is there any easy way to get it, or have I try picking it as many times as I get female one?

Yup. The only thing you can do to increase your chances is saving in front of the Poke Ball and keep resetting until you get a female starter.

(you can check if it's female as soon as you take it)

This is gonna sound crazy, but I restarted as a femaqle, and I got a female Charmander. I have no idea if the trainers gender had anything to do with it... but it might

Such as other people have said before, save before you pick, and if it isn't a Female, reset and try again. Other than that, you can breed for a Female starter.
