How to get Mew and shiny Yveltal/Xerneas?

On Serebii (https://www.serebii.net/games/currentevents.shtml) ... it is telling me "If you download Pokémon Red, Green, Blue or Yellow on the Nintendo 3DS, you'll get given a special Serial Code which, when redeemed, gives you access to the 151st Pokémon, Mew".

I downloaded Pokemon Red but perhaps I missed this code or something? Does anyone know how I can access it? It's level 5, would be really cool to have.

It also says "As part of a trio of distributions including shiny Xerneas & Yveltal, Zygarde was made live over the Nintendo Network". I just got Zygarde through the Mystery Gift, will shiny Xerneas and Yveltal be being made available soon too...? I have Yveltal but want Xerneas.

I just picked up Regice, Registeel and Regirock, which is cool, as well as Hoopa. So that's awesome.

The Mew was Japanese only, I believe. That said, the Mew glitch still works in Red and Blue, so you could use that to get one if you wanted to. If you want an event one, you could give Trade Corner on here a shot; the event is long over but I'm sure there are people in there that picked up a few extra codes or have one to spare~

Shiny Yveltal was announced for Spain a couple of days ago for May 5th, so I think it's possible that the rest of Europe and the Americas could see it soon...it seems unlikely that it'd be just for that one country, anyway. Shiny Xerneas would logically follow, but we don't know for sure at this point. Give it a week or so and we might get some news about it. But given that they came as a set in Japan and we've just got the first part of it, I think it's a fairly safe bet we'll see the other two before May is out.
