How to import music to Pokémon Essentials

I mean, I downloaded Pokémon Obsidian, which has custom music, when I copy some music files from Obsidian's audio bgm file into my audio bgm folder it works.

PS: The Obsidian files are MIDI (.mid). Don't know if those are the only files that work.
 
I been having a very hard time getting my title to my game to work right along with a splash and start plus it keeps going into debug mode plus I want to add a few of my own music to my own Pokemon fan made game that I am trying to work on
