I am making a game where I would love the starter pokemon to have a higher chance at being shiny (like double the chance maybe); however there does not seem to be a way to do this that I have found. If anyone knows anything about changing shiny rates and stuff, please help me out! Thanks very much in advance!

(Note: I already know that you can change the shiny rate in the script, but I want it to only be changed like a switch)

I don't have a copy of v17, but you can always compute the shiny probability when the player chooses the Pokémon, and change the @shinyflag of the Pokémon from the player's team.
